Well, it's been a whirlwind holiday season that is soon coming to a close. Right now we are laying on the couch watching Intervention (an amazing show, jealous?). I am home early from work because I have been feeling sick i.e. cough, sore throat, runny nose etc. But Luke and I are excited to spend the evening together.
Christmas was busy. We spent Christmas Eve with my family which was fun. Then Christmas Day morning Luke and I opened our gifts and then I went to work and Luke went to his sister's house. We missed each other but hey, I got some holiday pay. The next day we went to his sister's again and then off to the Frazier's. It has been a fun couple of weeks. Luke has not been to the office since the Thursday before Christmas. I don't how he is going to go back to work this Wednesday.
During this time, Luke and I have been entertaining the idea of moving to Alaska. Sounds cold, I know. The thing is I can get my loans repaid, we'd have less costly housing and Luke would possibly have a higher paying job. I of course would work as a nurse. It would be an opportunity that would prepare us for missions(the uprooting from family and living in a different culture).
There are so many pros to the situation and we are praying for God's wisdom and for open doors aplenty if Alaska is where we should be.
All in all it has been a good year. Luke and I have enjoyed being married and are excited for our future together. So, as the year comes to a close in just a few short hours, we are looking forward and waiting to see what the new year brings.
Happy New Year!
Angela and Luke

Okay so I wasnt going to comment because I am the only one who commented on your last post and I dont want you to get sick of hearing from me. But Ryan said "thats what friends are for" (commenting on blogs apparently even though I dont see a comment from him). Anyways - Ryan and I think Alaska is a super cool (not just cold) idea and we will try to visit you if you go!!
