Angela and I are excited to say that we are definitely moving to Alaska. We haven't established a hard date yet for the move, and are working on a couple specific details, but we are moving. The more we learn about Bethel, Alaska, the more we get excited about the move. There will be a lot to get used to in Alaska (Angela can't take it when the heat in the house is lower than 60 degrees, and I think the weather in Bethel is a little lower than that), but we are sure that God can use us up there.
Everything that we were hoping would line up to make this move work has totally worked out. I am keeping my job with Microsoft and will be able to work remotely from Alaska. This will be huge for our goals around getting out of debt quickly. Angela will be able to work days, which will totally help with her sanity and for her and I to spend more time together and be involved with church in Bethel.
This is a very exciting time for Angela and I. We are setting off on a great adventure and are stoked for what God is doing in our lives.
We will keep you updated on our actual move date as soon as we set it. We will also let you know how we are doing with getting ready for the move. We have to buy a bunch of warm clothes and a new truck or suv. But the most important thing is making sure I can get both of my flat screen tvs up to Alaska safely.

Wow! That is so exciting! We are really happy for you guys. Adventures are great! And you are smarter than us starting your adventure BEFORE you have three kids to tote around. :) Congrats on the move - just make sure to swing by Jerusalem on the way to Bethel (its on the way, right?).
